Trim Levels (Exterior)
Five trim levels cater to diverse lifestyles. Standard equipment on all models includes LED low/high beam headlights and taillights. The S and SV models feature a black grille with chrome surround and roll on 18-inch aluminum wheels with all-season tires. Remote-activated approach lights with integrated puddle lights are optional on the SV and SL as part of the Lighting Package. The Rock Creek stands apart with its distinctive 18-inch beadlock-style aluminum alloy wheels wrapped in all-terrain tires and LED fog lights. Reflecting its premium status, the Platinum presents 20-inch machine-finished alloy wheels, optional running boards, and a panoramic moonroof that floods the cabin with natural light.
Engine (Power)
A robust 3.5-liter dual overhead camshaft 24-valve direct injection gasoline V-6 is standard across the Pathfinder lineup. It produces 284 horsepower at 6,400 rpm and 259 pound-feet of torque at 4,800 rpm in most trims and 295 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque in the adventure-focused Rock Creek. All models use a smooth-shifting nine-speed automatic transmission featuring Manual Mode for enhanced driver control.
Performance
Nissan's Intelligent 4x4 system is standard on the Rock Creek and available on the other models. It includes seven Drive and Terrain Modes to assist in various conditions, including Mud/Rut, Sand, Snow, Tow, Sport, and Eco. Ground clearance ranges from 7.1 to 7.7 inches, depending on the trim. When properly equipped, the Pathfinder Rock Creek has a maximum towing capacity of 6,000 pounds, while the other variants can handle up to 3,500 pounds.
Interior
The Pathfinder's cabin features a practical layout, with flexible seating configurations and up to 80.5 cubic feet of cargo space. Most trims offer eight-passenger seating, while the Rock Creek provides a seven-passenger layout with second-row captain's chairs. The S and SV feature durable cloth upholstery, and the SL upgrades to leather-appointed seating. Leatherette upholstery is included in the Rock Creek, and the Platinum pampers occupants with premium semi-aniline leather surfaces. A NissanConnect 8-inch touch-screen display is standard on the S, SV, and Rock Creek, and the SL and Platinum have a 9-inch display. The SL offers a BOSE Premium Sound System as part of the optional SL Premium Package. This system is standard on the Platinum. All models have Apple CarPlay integration, Android Auto compatibility, and a tri-zone automatic climate control system, and the Platinum has wireless charging.
Safety Features
Nissan Safety Shield 360 is standard across the lineup. It includes automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert, lane departure warning, high beam assist, and rear automatic braking. All but the S come with ProPILOT Assist 1.0 hands-on. The Platinum adds an integrated navigation system and traffic sign recognition with a speed limiter, and the SL and Platinum feature Nissan's Intelligent Around View Monitor. The Rock Creek is equipped with a high-definition I-AVM with Off-Road Mode to assist on challenging terrain.
